Overview

Database Replay (hereafter DBReplay) is a client program that verifies the impact on applications when upgrading or patching the Tibero DBMS version. It captures the load generated in the database at the message level and can perform the same operations.

Since DBReplay captures the database itself and inspects the impact through replay, no downtime occurs, and it can run simulations identical to database operations, enabling accurate reflection of operational workloads. It is especially suitable for tasks that heavily use database features such as procedures or functions.
