DBMS Engine

Update on SQL Standard Features

  • Updated support for SQL-2008 / SQL-2011 / SQL-2016 related features

Added Auto Purge Feature

  • Automatically frees space when RECYCLEBIN feature is enabled

  • Automatically purges RECYCLEBIN objects when tablespace free space is insufficient or QUOTA Max is reached

Added SQL Profile Feature

  • Use SQL Profile to fix the form of a specific SQL plan

  • Supports DBMS_SQLTUNE, DBA_SQL_PROFILES, DBMSHSXP_SQL_PROFILE_ATTR

Cluster Manager Extension Features

  • Register groups/agents in CM to manage subordinate agent resources

  • Register Prosync in Agent to enable Failover

Added Privileges

  • CREATE JOB

  • CREATE ANY JOB
    (For Job/Scheduler control purposes)

Added TPR Partitioning Feature

  • Manage TPR-related tables as partitions to improve space reclamation and query performance

Improved TAC CCC Reconfiguration Performance

  • Improved performance by parallelizing CCC reconfiguration (resource remastering) when TAC membership changes

Known Issues

  • Failure to start Standby environment when RMGR backup is performed concurrently

  • JDBC-6001 error occurs when performing View PIVOT BLOB using Database Link

  • Internal error occurs when creating multiple Temp Tablespaces under Shared Pool over-occupancy

  • CM boot failure occurs when CM_SVC_AUTO_START_ON_BOOT is set after abnormal DB shutdown

  • Deadlock occurs during DBMS_REDEFINITION START_REDEF_TABLE execution
