Overview

This document describes the prerequisite infrastructure configuration for building Tibero TSC.

Method

1. Configuration Diagram

• The following environment must be configured to install TSC.
• Primary and Standby must have the same CPU, OS, etc.

• To allow LNW to directly read the online Redo log file and send it to the standby DB, the tibero port (8629) + 4 port must be opened.

   - ex) If the DB port is 8629, request to open 8633

• Required PORT (1 each for PRIMARY and STANDBY)

  1) Port for redo transport (must allow communication between servers.)

• Additional required information when configuring OBSERVER mode

  1) CM_OBSERVER_PORT 

  2) CM_PORT(=CM_UI_PORT)

  3) LOCAL_CLUSTER_PORT (must allow communication between servers.)

  4) 1 VIP 

   

  Before setup, all ports to be used and ports that need network communication should be guided in advance through consultation to avoid difficulties in pre-configuration.
