Issue Information
| Issue Number | 701400a |
| Issue | When creating an index on a rowid virtual column of a partitioned table with index_build_integrity_check=y set, an internal error occurs. |
| Cause | In the UNION ALL path created by OR expansion, while output columns were being calculated as the intersection of the lower-level paths, an index hint was applied, but processing was performed using an index scan and a table scan, and the index used a virtual column. As a result, the columns required by each scan path were missing, so those columns were excluded from the output, and the path to which OR expansion was not applied was removed due to increased CPU cost. Consequently, only paths that did not include the required columns remained, resulting in a system error because there was no path that could be processed. |
| Solutions | When creating an OR expansion path, check whether all columns required by the parent node are included, and do not add the path if any are missing. |
